After hearing this question almost everyday during the month Daddy was gone on work-ups, I decided that it was time to take the boys out to the ship for a visit. Our squadron has been having some trouble deciding where Matt will be during his time out at sea. So, these pictures were taken on the destroyer, but we don't know if Matt will be on this ship or the carrier. The boys had a great time climbing around and exploring "Daddy's ship". I am always amazed at the tiny rooms and close sleeping quarters. I certainly would not be able to enjoy living on a ship for months at a time!
This is where Daddy sleeps. I think its too close for comfort! Just pull the curtains shut for a little peace and quiet.
Do two grown men really have to share a room this small?

The boys liked sitting up on the bridge pretending to captain the boat.
We like being at home in Coronado much more than on the ship! We are saying extra prayers for Daddy... especially after seeing where he will be living!
