Fall Fun

The months are passing by quickly. Our boys keep us so busy! We have been having lots of fun. In October, we visited a pumpkin patch and had a visit from Grammy, Grandad, Uncle Josh, Aunt Robyn, and cousin Ocean. Grammy and Grandad got to go trick-or-treating with us. We took everyone to the San Diego Zoo.

In November, we got to go for a ride on Thomas the Tank Engine. This was the highlight of Andy's year (too bad he was sad for our picture... he wanted to touch Thomas and the engineer would not let him, because the train was too hot)!

For Thanksgiving, we got to head back to the east coast for a visit with both sides of the family and lots of friends. We spent Thanksgiving at St. Teresa Beach, spent a few days in Jacksonville, and then headed to Gainesville for Matt's MBA Graduation at The University of Florida.

We thought it was cold, but the boys didn't seem to mind. They always love playing at the beach! Two generations of cousins had a great time playing together in the sand.

We are glad to have our Daddy finished with school! Now we can spend all of our weekends together as a family.

December has been filled with holiday parties and lots of beautiful days at the park and the beach. Although, we did have a few days that were much colder than we expected. Matt's family will be coming out for a few days at Christmas and then we are dashing into a new year!

We hope you and your family have a wonderful Christmas filled with sweet memories.

California

We are finally feeling settled in Coronado. We arrived at the end of August and it has taken us a long time to feel settled in our cute little house. We still have some pictures to hang on the walls and a lot more organizing to be done... but this place is truly starting to feel like home. We still find ourselves longing to be with all of our family and friends on the east coast, but we know that this is where God has us for this season of our lives.

We are renting a house in Coronado that was built in 1919. The house is perfect for our family... quite a bit smaller than we are used to, but it is all that we need. We are about a block from the park and the library and less than a mile from the beach. It takes Matt about 5 minutes to get to work and we are able to walk just about anywhere on the island. We are really enjoying this lifestyle and have been encouraging everyone we know to come out for a visit!

Moving Day!
Our driver was excited to show off his new moving truck and our boys were excited to have such a BIG truck in front of our house!

Boxes, boxes, and more boxes!

The boys had a great time playing on all of the boxes.

The Coronado fire station, which is across the street from our house, has an open house each fall. They landed a helicopter in the street right in front of our house.

The whole community seemed to come out for this event. It was a fun day.

One of our favorite things to do is to walk to the beach right after breakfast. It has been a little bit chilly lately! The boys always have a great time playing in the sand.

Brothers...

Andy still loves his trains!

Zach is always exploring!

Our boys are growing so quickly! We are going to try hard to stay up-to-date with our pictures!
