Best Friends

Andy has been talking a lot lately about his "best friend" and of course that friend is Zach. Andy is often overly excited to share his love for Zach and it seems that Zach doesn't always enjoy Andy's enthusiasm!

For years I have been wanting to have a "family picture wall" and we finally got one pulled together! Since I have told so many of you about it, I thought I would share...

Easter

We were sad to be so far from our families this Easter, but we had a really good weekend. On Saturday morning we dyed Easter eggs. The boys really seemed to enjoy it this year, although I think it is always the most fun for me! We had family pictures taken that night, which I still need to scan in to share. On Sunday morning, we went to church and then spent the afternoon with some other Navy families. The family that had us over is a retired couple who enjoys having the kids around. They had an Easter egg hunt in their backyard and then a big Easter meal. I loved seeing my boys in their cute little shirts!

Happy 3rd Birthday Andy!

Our little first born is not so little anymore. He is growing up so fast! Andy's birthday was a fun adventure for the entire family. We went to Disneyland for the first time and had a great time! It was just as magical as we had dreamed. The pictures can't do it justice... everything is better in real life! They gave Andy a birthday button to wear and every character that saw him made a huge deal about his birthday. Even some of the characters in the parade leaned down to tell him "Happy Birthday!". Here is a little taste of our weekend...

Andy's very favorite ride was The Teacups... so we rode them twice!

We visited Mickey in his house... Andy was thrilled and Zach was terrified.

Cuddling with Eore

Andy's second favorite ride was Dumbo.

My three little Monkeys chose which train car we should ride in... you should have heard their monkey noises throughout the ride!

This was the highlight of the trip for Andy. His one mission was to meet Pluto and guess who showed up the morning of our second day!

Alice told Andy and Zach that they remind her of "the twins"... you know Tweedledee and Tweedledumb! Look at that gaze.

Lots of smiles

Cute brothers posing for another picture... see the Dumbo bush.

Playing the piano in Goofy's Playhouse.

Even Cinderella told Andy to have a Happy Birthday! She is Mommy's very favorite!

Andy insisted on having a Lightening McQueen cake. I guess the days of me choosing the theme are over. Albertson's did a great job on the cake, since Grammy wasn't around to do the decorating this year.

Thank you for all of the fun presents!
