It is still hard for me to believe that my baby boy is two years old! Time goes by way too quickly! For Zach's 2nd Birthday we tried our best to do all of the things that he loves the most. The day before his actual birthday we had a party for him at the pool (his favorite place to play). We invited a few of his best little friends. He was very certain that he wanted a fish cake. He told us the same thing each time we asked him. So, I attempted my first major cupcake decorating project and was successful.

The fish are cookies and everything else is icing.

When all of the cupcakes were placed on the stand we had our own little school of fish. Zach was thrilled and I was excited that the project had finally come together!
The kids (and Dads) had a great time playing in the pool. Andy and Zach are doing great in the water, after two sessions of swim lessons.
Playing with Daddy in the pool.
The birthday boy... waiting for his turn to jump in!
Zach found the perfect spot to jump in!
Eating Zach's favorite foods...pizza, watermelon, grape tomatoes, sugar snap peas, and carrots.
Our sweet group of blondies!
Blowing out the candles.
"All done".On Zach's actual birthday we did more of his favorite things...
We opened presents from the family and then went to church.
Then we had brunch at The Del.
It was a beautiful day!
So, after brunch we played on the beach and walked home.
Thank you Memaw and Pawpaw for the big Tonka truck!
Thank you Grammy and Grandad for the Thomas playsets!

Miss you but love keeping up with you on your blog!!!!
Happy Happy birthday, Zach! Katie, I am VERY impressed with your cake decorating skills - it's amazing what motherhood forces you to specialize in, isn't it? ;)
